Salfa is made by VGT Ventures LLC. This policy explains what the app does with information about you. The short version: there is no sign-up and we never learn your name, your email or who you are. The app keeps your progress on your device, and also stores an anonymous copy of it, plus how you use the app, under a random id that is not linked to you. The one exception is the creator programme, which you only reach by choosing to apply.

What we never collect

We do not ask you to create an account. We never collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, precise location or advertising identifier - unless you choose to apply to the creator programme, which is covered in its own section below and is the only place in the app that asks for your name and email.

Your anonymous id

When the app first runs it signs in to Firebase Authentication anonymously. That produces a random identifier for the install. It is not an account: it has no password, no email address, and it cannot be used to log in anywhere.

That id is what your saved progress and usage are stored against, and it is the only thing tying any of it together. We cannot use it to find out who you are, and neither can anyone else.

Deleting the app and reinstalling produces a brand new id, and cuts the old data loose from you permanently.

Kept on your device

The app stores all of the following on your device, using the operating system's standard preference storage:

This is what the app actually runs on. It works with no network at all. Uninstalling deletes every bit of it, and you can erase it at any time from Settings > Reset progress.

Kept in our cloud

A copy of your progress is also stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), under the anonymous id described above, in a single record per install. It holds:
