At VGT Ventures LLC, we take your privacy seriously. Delulu works in two ways. The statistical breakdown (counts, charts, who texts first, response times, top words and emojis) is computed entirely on your device. The AI "Investigation" feature does require sending the text of your chat to Google's Gemini model so it can generate its insights (see Section 2). We never save your conversations on our own servers.
AI analysis is a core part of how Delulu produces your results. When you run an analysis, the text of the selected chat is sent over an encrypted connection to Google's Gemini model through the Firebase AI Logic service, which acts as our processor. Google uses your chat only to generate your result, does not use it to train its models, and the chat is not stored after your result is returned. If you do not want your chat sent for AI processing, do not run an analysis. By starting an analysis you consent to this processing.
You do not need to create an account, sign in, or give us your name, email, or phone number to use Delulu. Your use stays anonymous; the only identifier involved is a random, app-generated ID used for the usage analytics described in Section 6, which is never tied to your real-world identity.
An internet connection is required to run an analysis, because your chat is sent to Google's Gemini model to generate your result, and to securely process in-app purchases and subscriptions through Apple or Google's payment gateways. The statistical calculations themselves run on your device, but a result cannot be produced offline.
Any chats you choose to "Save" within the Delulu app are stored locally in your device's secured shared preferences. You have full control and can permanently delete these saved analyses at any time by swiping them away on the home dashboard. Deleting the Delulu app will also immediately wipe all saved analyses.
To understand how the app is used and improve it, we collect anonymous, aggregated usage data through Google Analytics for Firebase and a Cloud Firestore database we operate. We record product events and counts (for example: an analysis was run, the upgrade screen was opened, a subscription was purchased) tied only to a randomly generated, anonymous app identifier. This identifier is not your name, email, phone number, or advertising ID, and is not used to track you across other apps or websites. We never send the contents of your conversations to analytics, and we do not use tracking pixels or keystroke logging.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
